An Afternoon at the Park

We had to go to a wedding on Saturday night for my cousin. So we spent the night down at Nonna and Nonni's house. The next day (Sunday) Aunt Katie and Uncle Kevin wanted to take you on the train ride at Wheaton Regional Park. Except when we got there, the train was shut down due to "emergency track repair" and Aunt Katie had a small spaz. As Daddy says, "its not an event unless a Marcot girl has a spaz." They took you on the carousel instead. You got to give the operator the ticket yourself!

It was a carefree afternoon. The month of May is so jammed packed with parties and weddings and graduations, we are always driving somewhere. It was nice to have a couple hours without an agenda, without a plan, without looking at a clock. For a few brief moments, there was nothing to worry about except what slide to go on next.

And if Aunt Molly ever tries to deny her relantionship to you, show her this picture. There is no way she can refute your shared genetics.
